Markets, gallery openings, concerts, festivals, fundraisers, grand openings. If it's public, positive, and in SWFL — there's a good chance we'll be there. And when we are, we leave with stories worth telling.
We cover 3–6 events per week in peak season. Small and scrappy welcome.

About event coverage.
Is event listing free?
Yes. Getting your event on the SWFL Spotlight Event Radar is always free for qualifying public events in our coverage region.
How far in advance should I submit?
At least 3 weeks. We plan issue coverage about a month out, and the earlier you submit, the more likely we can send a crew.
What makes an event qualify for full coverage?
Four things: (1) it’s public and open to the community, (2) it’s in our SWFL region, (3) it aligns with one of our series, and (4) it’s something our readers would want to know about.
Can I pay for coverage?
Full coverage packages are paid work, yes — pricing starts around $850 and scales with scope. But listings on Event Radar are always free.
Do you cover private events?
Generally no. We’re a public-audience publication. If you want private event coverage, we can refer you to Lloyd’s freelance work directly.
