For brands & businesses

Sponsor a Thursday that Southwest Florida actually reads.

A single warm, local issue — delivered to 2,480 engaged SWFL inboxes every Thursday morning, right before the weekend. Your story, in the voice our readers already trust.

Most issues are booked 4–6 weeks out. Peak season (Nov–Apr) fills first.

What sponsorship includes

Your story, our voice, their Thursday.

We don’t run banner ads. Every sponsor gets an editorial-style feature written with you, for our audience.

Co-written feature

A 200–400 word sponsored spotlight, written in our editorial voice. You approve every line before it ships.

Hero-position placement

Your feature runs in the top third of Thursday’s email — above the weekly stories, below the hero image.

Dedicated social post

One Instagram post and one story reel from our team. We write, you approve.

Website feature

Your story lives permanently on SWFLSpotlight.com in our sponsor archive, tagged to its issue.

Event mentions

If your issue coincides with an event you’re running, we list it on our Event Radar for the month.

Exclusivity

Only one sponsor per issue. We don’t share your audience slot with a competitor that week.

Past partners

Work we’ve done, results we’ve seen.

A downtown restaurant’s relaunch

We co-wrote a feature on their new chef and menu. The issue ran the Thursday before their soft open.

412 clicks → 38 reservations in week one.

A local nonprofit’s spring gala

Feature + event radar + Instagram reel. We interviewed the founder and told her story, not the sales pitch.

Event sold out 9 days ahead of last year.

A beach-town boutique’s seasonal launch

Quarterly partnership covering their Q1 collection, Q2 ambassador program, Q3 pop-up, Q4 holiday.

30% lift in first-time customers, Q1 to Q4.

Our issue with SWFL Spotlight drove more qualified traffic in one Thursday than three months of social ads. And the feature still converts six months later — it reads like a real story because it is one.

Good to know

Quick questions.

Do you accept every sponsor?

No. We turn down anything political, anything deceptive, and anything that would erode reader trust. We’d rather lose the sale than lose the audience.

How much control do I have over the copy?

You see every word before it ships. We write a draft in our voice, share it with you, take revisions, and publish only when you sign off.

Can I pick which Thursday my issue runs?

Yes, subject to availability. Most issues are booked 4–6 weeks out; peak season (Nov–Apr) fills first.

What if I’m not in SWFL?

We only partner with businesses serving the Fort Myers / Cape Coral / Naples / Sanibel / Bonita region. It’s what our audience trusts us for.

Do you offer a trial or smaller package?

Single-issue sponsorship is already our entry tier. It’s the fastest way to see whether your brand fits our audience — no annual commitment required.

Do you do banner ads or display?

No banner ads. Ever. Every sponsorship is editorial. It’s why our open rates are 54% and not 22%.
